One Month Warranty
Ecomdory purchases it's hardware products used. The Warranty term is one month beginning on the date of receipt, as further described below.
This Warranty does not cover damage due to external causes including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by Ecomdory, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Ecomdory. This warranty will be voided if the user installs an operating system other than what we ship including Unix, Linux, and Windows 98, NT, etc.
This warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: software other than that supplied with the original purchase; batteries/charging system; accessories or parts added to the laptop computer after the system is shipped from Ecomdory.
Ecomdory will repair or replace products returned to Ecomdory facility. To request Warranty service, you must email Ecomdory within the Warranty period to email@example.com. You must ship the products back to Ecomdory in the original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. Ecomdory will ship the repaired or replacement products to you freight prepaid if you use an address in the U.S. Shipments to other locations will be made freight collect. Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at his/her expense. All returned goods will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Returns will not be accepted/refunds will not be issued following expiration of this One Month Warranty. NOTE: Before you ship the products Ecomdory, back up the data on the hard-disk drives and any other storage devices in the product as data loss is not covered under this Warranty. Remove any media, such as diskettes, CDs or PC Cards. If you have any questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for technical assistance.
Ecomdory owns all parts removed from repaired products. Ecomdory uses new and reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers in performing Warranty repairs and building replacement products. If Ecomdory repairs or replaces a product, it's warranty term is not extended. Goods left unclaimed for thirty days become the property of Ecomdory.
ECOMDRY DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT OR LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST DATA OR SOFTWARE. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
